Re-Financing
When you decide to re-finance your home, you have options.
- Many times the lender you are working with will allow you to
choose the attorney to handle the transaction. This way you can
work directly with an attorney that you know and trust all the
way through the transaction. You want assurance that the loan you
want is the loan you get.
- If you aren't able to choose the attorney who will handle the
transaction, you can hire an attorney to represent your interests
during the process.
- Anytime you re-finance your home, Massachusetts law provides
that you have three business days to cancel the transaction.
During the three day time period, have an attorney review your
loan documents to be certain everything is as it appears.
